Harvard Chabad provided the leadership, moral voice, and clarity the world was in search of.

“Chai” (Hebrew for “Life”) spelled out in candles on the steps of Widener during a vigil.

HARVARD CHABAD embodies the conviction that the only way to combat darkness is with light, and that the only answer to Antisemitism is to show up as proud Jews with unabashed pride in our heritage, our traditions, and connection to the state of Israel.

This year when Antisemitism was laid bare for what it is, we saw Rabbi Hirschy and Elkie on the front page of the newspapers speaking out, on the steps of Widener lighting the Menorah, and on the front lines in meeting with University Leaders and students to advocate, comfort, and lead with Jewish Pride.
