The 613 Fellowship

About Us

We're on a mission to empower the next generation of Jewish business leaders by connecting them with mentorship, opportunity, and education at the highest levels of finance. Many Jewish students arrive at Harvard's campus with the drive to succeed but lack the networks or inside knowledge to navigate competitive career paths. We're here to change that.

This fellowship started with a simple idea: What if the Jewish values of community, ambition, and integrity could be a launchpad—not just socially, but also professionally?

Facilitated by Harvard Chabad and industry leaders, we’ve created an exclusive career development initiative that offers a year-long cohort of students direct mentorship from industry-leading professionals, intimate networking trips to firms around the country, and an exclusive pathway for passionate students to enter the finance industry.

We’ve already brought top hedge fund managers, C-Suite investment bankers, Private Equity investors, VC firm founders, and dozens of analysts at top firms to the team. Now we're looking for a select group of Harvard’s most passionate and accomplished Jewish students to join us.

What You’ll Gain

  • Direct Industry Access: Visit top firms like Pershing Square, Apollo Global, and Goldman Sachs, hearing from and talking with analysts, investors, and executives.

    • Past Participants in Similar Harvard Chabad Programming Include:

      • Bill Ackman (Pershing Square)

      • Marc Rowan (Apollo Global)

      • Josh Kushner (Thrive Capital)

  • Real-World Career Preparation: Learn how recruiting processes work, what firms actually value through speaking events and education panels.

    • Who You’ll Learn From:

      • Analysts at Goldman Sachs, Evercore, Silver Lake, etc.

      • Investors at Bridgewater, Point72, Sequoia, a16z, etc.

      • Uplifting Family: Surround yourself with career-oriented, ambitious students, and engage with them during our social events.

        • What We’ll Do

          • Cohort Trips to New York City

          • Dinners in Boston

          • Retreats

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking highly motivated Jewish undergraduates—primarily freshmen and sophomores—who are interested in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital / Startups, and Hedge Funds:

      • Passionate: You have a strong drive to succeed in competitive industries, have a story for why you want to pursue a specific passion, and are willing to invest in your future.

      • Curious: You’re eager to learn, ask real questions, and seek mentorship beyond surface-level networking. You’re a person who follows up and is able to take constructive feedback.

      • Professional: You’re serious about showing up prepared, dressed the part, and representing yourself and your community with excellence.

      • Community-Oriented: You value not only your personal success but also the importance of uplifting your peers and the broader Jewish community.
