The Jewish Leaders Forum hosts intimate lunch and dinner discussions, fireside chats, and a variety of mentoring opportunities for Harvard students to meet with and learn from exceptional leaders from around the world. Roy K. Altman serves as a United Stated District Judge for the Southern District of Florida.
After clerking for the U.S. Court of Appeals and serving as a federal prosecutor, at age 36 he became the youngest federal district court judge in the country, and the youngest federal judge ever appointed in the Southern District of Florida.
Judge Altman graduated from Columbia University, where he played both football and baseball earning All-Ivy Honors. And received his his law degree from Yale Law School, where he was projects editor of the Yale Law Journal.
